Warranty Policy

Learn about brand warranties, claim procedures, and warranty conditions.

1. Types of Warranty

All computer components, hardware, laptops, and networking products sold on TechVion come with specific warranty coverage:

  • Official Brand Warranty: Provided directly by the manufacturer (e.g. ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Intel, AMD). The warranty claim is processed through the official brand service centers in Bangladesh or through TechVion.
  • Local Service Warranty: Provided by local authorized distributors in Bangladesh. TechVion acts as a facilitator to process claims with the distributor.
  • TechVion Service Warranty: Serviced by our in-house lab experts for products that specify TechVion service coverage.

2. Warranty Claim Process

If a product develops a fault within its warranty period, you can claim warranty using the following process:

  1. Check Invoice: Verify the product invoice to confirm that the warranty duration is active and the serial number matches.
  2. Prepare the Product: Deliver the product to the TechVion main support center or directly to the authorized distributor service center.
  3. Diagnostics: Our technicians will test the product and log the issue. A claim ticket will be issued to you.
  4. Turnaround Time: Processing a warranty replacement or repair typically takes **7 to 15 working days**, depending on parts availability and distributor response.
  5. Collection: Once resolved, you will receive a notification to collect the product. If you live outside Dhaka, we will ship it to your address.

⚠️ Warranty Exclusions & Void Conditions

Warranty does not cover and will be voided immediately if the product exhibits:

  • Physical damage, cracked PCB, broken pins, or chipped components.
  • Signs of liquid exposure, corrosion, rust, or mold.
  • Burnt circuits, shorted components caused by faulty power supply units, or voltage fluctuations.
  • Tampered serial number stickers, removed heatspreaders, or unauthorized repair attempts.
  • BIOS flash failures, corrupted firmware from improper flashing, or mining-specific physical wear.

3. Important Disclaimers

TechVion is not liable for any data loss during diagnostic or repair processes. We highly recommend backing up your files, operating system, and configurations before sending hard drives, SSDs, laptops, or complete systems to the warranty center.
